Sunday School
1st Sunday
On the 1st Sunday of the month only the Preschoolers and Kindergarteners will attend Sunday School. All other students (and their teachers) will get to participate in the full service, hear the sermon and receive communion. In addition, the Choristers will perform special music and the older children will have an opportunity to serve as ushers, readers and communion assistants.

Children are dismissed from the worship service for Sunday School class after the Children's Sermon at about 10:00 am. Classes run until 10:45. Parents pre-school through third graders are asked to come and pick up their children from their classrooms. Fourth, fifth and sixth graders can either be picked up by their parents, or they will be allowed to meet their parents downstairs. How Parents Can Help Parents are such an important part of their child's success and enjoyment of this program. There are five easy things parents can do to help: · Keep in touch with your children's teachers. Letting teachers know when your children will be absent makes planning easier. · Talk with your kids about what they did at Sunday School. Many lessons involve an activity or discussion to have with parents. · Help out in the classroom. It's easy, fun, and a great way to see what kids do each week. · Plan or help with a special event (Christmas Pageant, Sledding/Skating Party) · Donate needed materials and supplies for the classrooms.

Adult Education
Putting the Sermon to Work in Everyday Life
Each Sunday morning, when there is no Adult Forum, from 11:00 to 11:40 am, we meet in the Christy Room to talk about the sermon we've just heard and to wonder together about how to apply it to daily life in the places in which we live and work and play.
It is a lively conversation as we all share from our own experience and take the opportunity to question Pastor Gayle on what she said, why she said it, and what she thinks it means for the way we live as Christians in the world.
Grab an extra cup of coffee and make your way to the Christy Room to help put the sermon to work in your Monday through Saturday life.

Wednesday morning Bible Study
Each Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 am we meet in the Christy Room to study the Old and New Testament readings and the Gospel reading for the upcoming Sunday. It's a great opportunity to prepare to listen to the sermon and a great opportunity to help Pastor Gayle write the next sermon by your questions, insights and experiences.
