SOCIAL OUTREACH MINISTRY TEAM

The Social Outreach Ministry Team provides members and friends of Lake of the Isles with opportunities to demonstrate our faith through tangible action in our community and around the world.

The Social Outreach Ministry Team will:

• Strengthen and maintain Lake of the Isle's relationship with the Neighborhood Involvement Program.
• Target three (3) community-based programs that Lake of the Isles members will focus energy and resources on and establish appropriate action teams to implement.
• Target two (2) global mission projects that Lake of the Isles members will focus energy and resources on and establish appropriate action teams to implement.
• In collaboration with the Sunday School action team, initiate a global mission related project for children.
• Plan social outreach mission projects/trips (e.g., Appalachian Service Project, Paint-a-Thon) and create action teams to implement.
• Seek partnerships with other churches' social outreach activities.
